What is a Facility List?

Facility List refers to a list of digital certificates that is assembled within one facility, or theatre complex. The digital certificates are found in the digital cinema playback equipment. The primary feature of the digital certificate is its public key and private key. The private key is never revealed, but the public key is. A file encrypted with the public key of the certificate can only be decrypted with the associated private key. Certificates are also used where link encryption is required.
