The Facility List is created inside the theatre, and represents the digital cinema equipment deployed at that location. This list is used to create and update the database of the Security Key Distributor. The Security Key Distributor uses the digital certificate public keys found in the Facility List to create KDMs for the theatre. The public key of the Media Block is used to encrypt the content key. The certificates of all projectors in the complex requiring link encryption are also included in the KDM so that equipment can be moved within the facility. This relationship is pictured below.
