Introducing Site Server

There is more to running a digital media network then getting images on a screen. Managing the duplication/replication of the media through your complex or whole organisation is by far the more challenging task.

SiteServer by d-cinema.com.au has been designed to take the Bio Box into the new digital era, utilising the latest technologies such as AJAX and RIA (Rich Internet Application).

This product operates virtually. It can be run from anywhere, as long as you have a network connection (ie typical ADSL).  All of the applications usually required to run a cinema with as little effort as possible - Playlists, Automation, Content Management, even live camera monitor feeds - have been considered and made a part of the SiteServer interface.

Features:

  • Media Management, utilising incoming, current and parked storage areas .
  • Atomatic Proxy creation for remote monitoring and media vetting.
  • Local and remote UPLOAD facilities.  This allows for not only Projectionist ingestion of content, but also secure remote reception of media from production services, such as ad agencies or other cinema sites.
  • Remote control of all Media Players. With a click of the button you have access to a media player as if you where right there.
  • Projector and automation interface. This allows access to Web based configuration and monitor for Projector and automation boxes.
  • Live Camera feeds. A live camera can be associated with a Screen, allowing you to quickly check the status of any screen/location the cinema is monitoring.
  • Trailer download access. The interface provides access to a Trailer site that is updated with compatible trailers approved by distributors for your region.
  • Automatic media distribution. With the click of of a button, your media can quickly and automatically be distributed to whereever  it needs to be
